Is President Trump’s global business empire raising red flags—or just more media hysteria?
Tucker Carlson, former Fox News host and trusted voice in conservative media, raised serious concerns this week about President Donald Trump’s expanding business ventures across the Middle East. The topic came up during a revealing interview on The Tucker Carlson Show with former Navy SEAL and podcast host Shawn Ryan.
Ryan, a vocal supporter of Trump’s tough stance on illegal immigration and his crackdown on divisive DEI initiatives, surprised many by questioning the timing of new Trump Organization projects overseas. “I see a new Trump hotel going up in Dubai, another in Doha—did these deals just happen while other negotiations were underway?” he asked.
Carlson didn’t hold back. “Well, it seems like corruption, yeah,” he replied bluntly.
According to mainstream reports, the Trump Organization recently inked a series of lucrative deals to build high-end properties in Dubai, Doha, Muscat, and Jeddah. These include:
- A Trump International Hotel & Tower in Dubai
- A luxury golf resort in Doha, developed in partnership with Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund
- A Trump Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
- A five-star hotel currently under construction in Muscat, Oman
These announcements come just weeks after President Trump completed a four-day visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, strengthening diplomatic and economic ties in the region.
While liberal media outlets like NBC News are quick to scream “conflict of interest,” many conservatives see it differently. To them, Trump is simply continuing to do what he’s always done: close deals, build success, and put America first.
Still, Carlson’s candid admission—”I’ve never made a dollar in the Middle East. Not one.”—suggests even allies want more clarity. Supporters are now asking: Is Trump’s business empire helping or hurting his renewed fight to restore American greatness?
What do you think? Should Trump scale back his business ventures while leading America, or is this just another media distraction?
