Trump Declares The Winner Of 4th GOP Debate

Former President Trump shared his views on the recent Republican primary debate, criticizing various contenders and proclaiming entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy as the winner.

In a post on Truth Social, he commented on the performance of Ron DeSanctimonious and described Chris Christie as unfit both mentally and physically for the presidency, also accusing him of suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. He dismissed Asa Hutchinson and Ron, suggesting they were out of the race, and humorously gave second place to Nikki Haley, referring to her as “Birdbrain.”

Trump praised Vivek Ramaswamy as the winner, emphasizing Ramaswamy’s positive opinion of him. The former president took a swipe at debate moderator Megyn Kelly, branding her as the “biggest loser” of the event.

Despite Trump’s endorsement, Ramaswamy faced criticism for his debate performance, particularly for using below-the-belt punches and making controversial statements. Republican strategist Scott Jennings noted that Ramaswamy’s attempt to emulate Trump’s style did not resonate well, highlighting the absence of Trump’s personal warmth and humor in the millennial entrepreneur.

Ramaswamy’s campaign defended his approach, asserting that he speaks his convictions regardless of public opinion. Senior advisor Tricia McLaughlin emphasized Ramaswamy’s warmth on the campaign trail, acknowledging that opinions about his straightforward style may vary among the audience.
