Democrats Throw Merrick Garland Under The Bus

In a shocking turn of events, one of President Joe Biden’s top advisers has openly blamed former Attorney General Merrick Garland for the administration’s failure to pursue justice in the Jeffrey Epstein case — a bombshell that’s sending shockwaves through Washington.

Neera Tanden, Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council and a senior figure in Biden’s inner circle, made the explosive comments during an appearance on the Bulwark Podcast. When asked why the Biden administration failed to act on Epstein’s files and bring more powerful names to justice, her answer was blunt:

“Have you met Merrick Garland?”

Tanden claimed that the Biden White House stayed completely out of enforcement matters — even in a case involving child sex trafficking and elite abuse. She said this was due to “abuses of the Trump administration,” a weak justification that many believe is simply a convenient excuse for avoiding accountability.

“We barely even engaged with the DOJ on policy,” she admitted. “They were so arm’s-length to us.”

Tanden went further, saying the White House had “no idea” what Garland was doing — if anything — with the Epstein files. She hinted that Garland was so afraid of “conservative blowback” from the January 6th prosecutions that he may have intentionally steered clear of investigating Ghislaine Maxwell or other Epstein associates.

“He was hypersensitive about any perception of bias,” she said. “I’m not sure justice was always done.”

Her comments come at a critical moment. This week, the House Oversight Subcommittee voted to subpoena Garland, former DOJ officials, and even Bill and Hillary Clinton, demanding answers in the ongoing probe into Epstein’s trafficking operation and its high-level connections.

Meanwhile, the Department of Justice and FBI announced earlier this month that they found “no evidence” in the Epstein files to justify charges against any third parties — a decision that has enraged millions of Americans, especially Trump voters who have long suspected a deep-state cover-up to protect the elite.

The American people deserve answers. And for many, it’s clear: Garland failed to act, and Biden turned a blind eye.
