Democrat Spy In Trump Circle?

North Carolina Republican Senator Thom Tillis has recently expressed significant concerns regarding former President Donald Trump’s association with far-right commentator Laura Loomer as Trump gears up for the final leg of his presidential campaign.

In a candid social media post, Tillis sharply criticized Loomer, referring to her as a “crazy conspiracy theorist” who spews harmful rhetoric aimed at fracturing the Republican Party. He further accused Loomer of undermining Trump’s re-election bid more effectively than any Democratic operative could. “It’s time to put an end to this,” Tillis declared, reflecting the sentiments of many within the GOP who are troubled by Loomer’s influence.

Tillis’s remarks come in the wake of similar criticisms from notable Republican figures including Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia. Both Graham and Greene have previously denounced Loomer for her derogatory comments, particularly those targeting Vice President Kamala Harris.

Despite not holding an official position within Trump’s campaign, Loomer has been notably present at high-profile events, including traveling on Trump’s plane to the recent debate against Harris and participating in 9/11 memorial observances. Her presence has raised eyebrows among GOP leaders who fear it might harm Trump’s campaign.

In response to the backlash, Loomer defended herself on social media, asserting that her commitment to fighting for conservative values outweighs concerns about her critics. “The American people need fighters, not those who buckle under media pressure,” Loomer asserted. “I’m not worried about what any ‘sellout’ congressperson thinks of me.”

For his part, Trump brushed off questions about Loomer during a California appearance, emphasizing that she is just one of his many supporters. “Laura’s a supporter,” Trump noted, adding that her strong opinions are part of what makes her unique. He seemed indifferent to the ongoing debate surrounding her, focusing instead on rallying his base as he moves forward in the campaign.
