A growing rift inside the Democratic Party is exploding into the open — and it’s not Republicans causing the chaos. It’s angry left-wing activists turning on Democrats who dared to side with President Donald Trump.
Progressives Furious After Shutdown Vote
Ezra Levin, co-founder of the radical activist group Indivisible — best known for its anti-Trump “No Kings” protests — lashed out Monday at Democrats who voted to reopen the government.
“They’ve shown us time and time again that when it counts, they’ll cave,” Levin ranted on CNN’s Jim Acosta Show. “If they can find plausible deniability, they’ll give in to the regime.”
Levin’s outrage focused on a handful of Senate Democrats — among them Pennsylvania’s John Fetterman, Nevada’s Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen, Illinois’ Dick Durbin, New Hampshire’s Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan, and Virginia’s Tim Kaine — who broke ranks to back the government funding bill without first locking in additional Obamacare subsidies.
Left-Wing Revolt Against Party Leadership
Levin claimed these Democrats “lacked self-respect” and accused Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of weak leadership.
“If you still support Schumer, you don’t get my vote, my donation, or my attention,” Levin said.
The far-left leader warned that his group will launch its largest-ever primary campaign to remove Democrats who “won’t fight back.”
“This surrender was so complete, it can’t be hidden anymore,” Levin declared. “Everyone can see the party is not up to the task.”
Democrats Turn on Each Other While Trump Stands Strong
While President Trump continues to focus on rebuilding America’s economy, securing the border, and standing up to foreign threats, Democrats are busy fighting among themselves.
Moderate Democrats want stability and compromise, while the radical fringe demands all-out resistance — even if it means chaos, gridlock, and economic pain for working Americans.
For millions of voters watching this civil war inside the left, one thing is clear: The Democratic Party is imploding under its own hypocrisy.
Why It Matters for 2025 and Beyond
This internal meltdown could shape the next election cycle. With Trump leading a disciplined and confident Republican movement, Democrats are tearing each other apart.
The divide between “far-left activists” and “traditional liberals” is growing wider every day — and many believe it’s only helping the America-First agenda.
