US Voters Keep Attacking Republicans

WESTFIELD, IN — Tensions ran high Friday night as Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.) defended Elon Musk’s bold push to eliminate government waste during a heated town hall in Indiana’s 5th Congressional District.

The event, held in the suburban heart of Westfield, turned combative when Spartz praised President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—a signature initiative led by Musk that’s been cutting bloated budgets, firing thousands of unnecessary federal workers, and shining a spotlight on deep-rooted bureaucratic corruption.

“We’ve uncovered real fraud, waste, and abuse,” Spartz told the crowd. “If you came here to shout, you’re missing the truth.”

But not everyone was ready to hear it.

Crowd Erupts Over Signal Chat Leak

At one point, a constituent asked if Spartz would demand the immediate resignation of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz. The two Trump allies were part of a leaked Signal group chat that accidentally included a left-wing journalist from The Atlantic.

The chat contained classified details about military airstrikes on Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen—timing, weapons, even drone flight schedules.

“No, I will not demand their resignations,” Spartz said flatly, triggering boos from some in the crowd—but applause from others who support strong national defense and patriotic leadership.

Elon Musk’s Role in Slashing Government Waste

Beyond the military leak, Spartz stood firm in her defense of Elon Musk’s work to drain the swamp.

As an advisor to DOGE, Musk has helped identify billions in wasteful spending, push back against overreaching federal departments, and restore accountability in Washington.

Thousands of underperforming federal employees have been let go as part of this common-sense initiative—something Democrats have fiercely opposed, but everyday taxpayers have welcomed.

“We need less bureaucracy, not more. That’s how we protect freedom and restore trust,” Spartz said.

Spartz Calls for Strong NATO, But More European Responsibility

Spartz, born in Ukraine, reiterated her support for NATO, calling it a “critical force for peace.” But she made it clear: Europe must do more.

“The American taxpayer shouldn’t have to carry the full weight of defending the continent,” she said. “It’s time for our allies to step up.”

Outside Protestors Push Left-Wing Agenda

Outside the event, Democrat-aligned protestors chanted and waved signs, some demanding amnesty for illegal immigrants. One sign read: “Honor, Love, Respect Immigrants”—a message clearly out of sync with voters focused on law, order, and secure borders.

Hamilton County Democrat Chair Josh Lowry gleefully shared video of the protest on social media, calling it “democracy in action.”

Despite Pushback, Spartz Thanks Her Constituents

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Spartz said:

“These town halls aren’t easy in today’s climate. But they’re essential. Thank you to everyone who came.”

Other America First Lawmakers Also Facing the Heat

Spartz isn’t the only Republican defending Trump’s America First reforms at town halls.

  • Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.) was booed earlier this month for backing DOGE and calling for a smaller, more efficient federal government.
  • Rep. Mike Flood (R-Neb.) faced tough questions about America’s role in the Ukraine conflict and the administration’s pro-growth trade policies.
  • Rep. Chuck Edwards (R-N.C.) said he has no regrets:

“I went toe-to-toe with the progressive left. I’d do it again.”

  • Trump’s RNC Cracks Down On Corrupt Democrat

The Republican National Committee is intensifying its criticism of Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA), accusing the Georgia Democrat of misleading voters about his role in past government shutdowns that had serious consequences for working Americans. In a recent post on X, RNC Research said Ossoff is attempting to “gaslight” the public by downplaying how often he
