WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a bold move to restore law and order, the Trump administration is ramping up its zero tolerance policy in response to violent attacks on federal immigration facilities in Texas and Oregon. The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Saturday that it is now actively investigating and responding to coordinated assaults targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) property.
✅ BREAKING: DOJ confirms it’s “closely monitoring” threats against ICE and DHS in Prairieland, TX, and Portland, OR.
🔥 Attacks have increased 700% in just one year.
🇺🇸 Trump: “If they spit, we will hit… harder than ever before.”
As President Trump’s enhanced deportation efforts take effect nationwide, left-wing protesters have escalated their tactics—resulting in direct violence against law enforcement. In Los Angeles, anti-ICE protests turned chaotic in June, prompting Trump to deploy the National Guard and U.S. Marines. While liberal officials complained, most Americans over 50 applauded the president’s swift action to protect federal property and personnel.
🚨 ICE Under Siege: 700% Rise in Attacks
In a new memo, the White House warned that “violent protests continue to threaten the safety of federal facilities and those who serve within them.” Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche posted Saturday on X (formerly Twitter) that the DOJ is “coordinating closely with U.S. Attorneys and law enforcement agencies” across multiple states.
🧯 “This Department will not tolerate any attacks on federal personnel or government property,” Blanche stated. ⚖️ “Those who commit such acts will face the strongest legal consequences available.”
While specifics of the attacks weren’t detailed, DHS later confirmed that assaults against ICE agents have jumped nearly 700% year-over-year. In raw numbers, Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported a rise from 10 assaults between January–June 2024 to 79 assaults during the same period in 2025.
Two disturbing photos shared by DHS show federal property vandalized with anti-ICE graffiti, including slurs like “ICE Pig” and “F— ICE.”
🛡️ Secretary Kristi Noem: “We Will Hunt You Down”
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem responded with a clear warning:
❗ “If you threaten or harm law enforcement officers, we will hunt you down and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,” she wrote.
📈 “Our ICE agents are heroes. They are now facing a 700% surge in attacks—and this administration is not backing down.”
President Trump also weighed in, issuing one of his strongest statements yet:
💥 “IF THEY SPIT, WE WILL HIT—and hit harder than ever before. This kind of anti-American disrespect will not be tolerated,” Trump said on Truth Social.
💬 What This Means for the Border and the Nation
As immigration enforcement intensifies, ICE and DHS agents are encountering more resistance from radical activists. But this White House is standing firm, making it clear that assaults, intimidation, and violence will be met with immediate consequences.
Expect to see:
- Expanded federal protection at immigration sites
- Accelerated deportation efforts
- Increased federal prosecution of agitators
This is law and order in action, and for patriotic Americans—especially those concerned about border security and respect for our officers—it’s a welcome return to strength.
