Trump’s Shocking Confession About Gaza Conflict

In recent remarks, former President Donald Trump asserted that the series of Hamas terror attacks on Israel and the ensuing conflict would not have occurred had he still been in office. Trump attributed these events to what he described as a lack of respect for President Joe Biden from the terror group. In an interview with Fox News, Trump claimed that during his tenure, Iran’s financial struggles would have prevented it from supporting organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah, implying that such attacks would not have been feasible under his administration.

Expressing concern over Biden’s policies regarding Israel, Trump suggested that the current administration was on a path to abandoning the nation. He further speculated that if he were in office instead of Biden, actions like Russia’s invasion of Ukraine would not have taken place. Trump attributed these decisions to what he characterized as the influence of “fascists and communists” surrounding Biden.

While Trump did not directly address Vice President Kamala Harris’ proposal for a temporary cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, he maintained that the attacks would not have occurred if he were president. He lamented the loss of life and destruction in various regions, expressing a fear of escalating conflicts leading to a potential third world war.

Trump’s statements echo previous assertions he made during his presidency, where he pledged swift resolutions to conflicts in regions like Israel and Ukraine. Despite his support for Israel during his time in office, including significant diplomatic gestures like recognizing Jerusalem as the capital and brokering the Abraham Accords, Trump criticized Israel’s response to the October 7 attacks, indicating a shift in his stance.

However, efforts for normalization between Israel and other nations, including Saudi Arabia, continued under the Biden administration. There remains a desire to reach agreements that could potentially contribute to ending the Israel-Hamas conflict and advancing Palestinian statehood, in addition to further integrating Israel into the broader region.
