Trump’s Ballroom Named After Obama?

A liberal commentator has ignited outrage after suggesting President Donald J. Trump’s new White House ballroom be renamed the “Barack Hussein Obama Ballroom.”

The shocking comment came from Zeteo founder Mehdi Hasan, who claimed renaming Trump’s newest White House addition after the former Democrat president would “kill him.” Hasan made the inflammatory statement while appearing on The Jim Acosta Show on Friday.

Trump’s White House Makeover Drives the Left Crazy

Since returning to the Oval Office, President Trump has made no secret of his efforts to restore the White House’s grandeur. His team has launched an ambitious renovation plan — from a gold-accented Oval Office redesign to the creation of a privately funded ballroom meant to host state dinners, military ceremonies, and major cultural events.

The ballroom, being built on the site of the old East Wing, is already being referred to by insiders as the “President Donald J. Trump Ballroom.”

Unlike his predecessors, Trump has refused to burden taxpayers with the cost. Every penny of the construction comes from private donations — a move praised by supporters but mocked by the far left.

Media Personalities Mock Trump’s Success

Hasan told CNN veteran Jim Acosta that if Democrats win back the White House in 2028, they should humiliate Trump by changing the name of the ballroom.

“If I were a Democrat running for president, I’d make it part of my platform,” Hasan bragged. “Vote for me, and I’ll rename it the Barack Hussein Obama Ballroom. That would kill him.”

Acosta chuckled and responded that maybe they should simply call it “The Hussein Ballroom,” taking the jab even further. Hasan laughed, saying Trump would “lose it” if his name were ever replaced with Obama’s.

Conservatives Fire Back

Conservative commentators immediately blasted the segment, calling it petty, vindictive, and deeply disrespectful.

“Democrats can’t stand that Trump is actually improving the White House,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “They mock success because they can’t match it.”

Others noted that Trump’s renovations symbolize a revival of American strength, tradition, and pride — values that have long defined his presidency.

A Symbol of American Greatness

White House officials confirmed that no official name has been announced yet, stressing that any designation will come directly from President Trump himself.

The ballroom, which Trump has described as “a masterpiece of American craftsmanship,” will serve as a permanent venue for patriotic celebrations and visiting world leaders — another sign that the president is leaving a lasting legacy in Washington, D.C.

“Every president dreams of adding something meaningful to the People’s House,” Trump said. “We’re doing it beautifully — and without a dime of taxpayer money.”

Bottom Line

While the liberal media obsesses over jokes and name-calling, President Trump continues to deliver results — rebuilding America’s image and restoring pride in its most iconic building.

The attempt to mock him only underscores how deeply Trump Derangement Syndrome still runs through the left-wing establishment.
