Trump Unveils New Gift For Americans

President Donald Trump has once again delivered for the American people — announcing a revolutionary plan to slash prescription drug costs and restore fairness to seniors, veterans, and hardworking families.

On Tuesday, Trump revealed the launch of TrumpRx, a groundbreaking online platform that will allow Americans to buy medications directly from drugmakers — cutting out the greedy middlemen who have been profiting for decades.

“This is one of the biggest changes we’ll ever see in American healthcare,” Trump declared. “We’re cutting prices by 100%, 200%, even 300% in some cases. For the first time, the American people come first — not the special interests.”

Huge Savings on Life-Changing Medicines

Pfizer, the first major partner in the TrumpRx program, has committed to unprecedented discounts:

  • Xeljanz (arthritis relief) – 40% cheaper
  • Zavzpret (migraine treatment) – 50% cheaper
  • Eucrisa (dermatitis cream) – 80% cheaper
  • Duavee (osteoporosis for women) – 85% cheaper

For uninsured Americans, the savings are massive. Xeljanz, for example, normally costs over $6,000 per month. Through TrumpRx, families could save more than $36,000 per year.

This initiative is especially critical for seniors on fixed incomes and families struggling with skyrocketing healthcare costs.

Ending America’s Unfair Drug Prices

Trump explained that foreign countries like Canada, France, and Germany have long exploited the United States by paying far less for the exact same drugs.

Under the new Most Favored Nation (MFN) rule, TrumpRx will ensure that Americans finally pay the same or less than people overseas.

“Other countries took advantage of us for years. I said enough,” Trump told reporters. “From now on, the American people get the best deal.”

Allies Praise Trump’s Bold Leadership

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called the TrumpRx plan “a turning point in history.”

Dr. Mehmet Oz, head of Medicare and Medicaid Services, said Trump’s relentless push “forced Big Pharma to the table — no other president would fight this hard for American families.”

Even Pfizer’s CEO admitted that Trump’s tough stance, including his threat of tariffs, was the driving force: “The president is right. Tariffs are the most powerful tool to motivate companies.”

Bringing Jobs Back to America

Alongside lower prices, Pfizer also pledged to invest $70 billion in new U.S. factories and research.

Trump made clear that starting October 1, 2025, any pharmaceutical company that refuses to build in America will face a 100% tariff on branded drugs.

“Build in America or pay the price,” Trump warned.

Trump vs. Democrats: A Clear Choice

The Trump administration is lowering costs for American seniors and families, while Democrats are focused on giving taxpayer-funded healthcare to illegal immigrants.

“Democrats talked about lowering drug prices for decades and did nothing,” said White House spokesman Kush Desai. “President Trump is the one actually delivering real results.”

The Bottom Line

For too long, Americans paid the highest prescription drug prices in the world. With TrumpRx, President Trump is keeping his promise to put Americans first, bring back jobs, and finally hold Big Pharma accountable.

This is more than healthcare reform — it’s a historic gift to every American family.
