Trump To Defund Israel?

President Donald Trump is sounding the alarm over what he’s calling a politically motivated attack on one of America’s closest allies — and he’s ready to act.

In a Saturday night post on Truth Social, President Trump ripped into the corruption charges against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling the trial a “disgraceful witch hunt” that mirrors the relentless legal attacks he’s faced here at home.

“It’s outrageous what they’re doing to Bibi Netanyahu,” Trump wrote. “Dragging a sitting Prime Minister into court over cigars, silly gifts, and media stories? It’s nothing but a political hit job — just like the ones the radical left pulled on me!”

Netanyahu is facing three separate charges involving allegations of quid pro quo — supposedly offering favors to businessmen in exchange for gifts and favorable media coverage. Trump, however, sees a deeper motive.

“This travesty of justice could cripple our strategic efforts in the region, including high-stakes negotiations with Iran and Hamas,” he warned.

Trump didn’t stop there. He issued a direct warning: if the persecution of Netanyahu continues, America’s financial support to Israel could be in jeopardy.

“The United States gives billions of taxpayer dollars to protect and support Israel — more than any other nation,” Trump noted. “We won’t stand by while this sham trial tears apart one of the few strong leaders left in the Middle East.”

Trump emphasized that under Netanyahu’s leadership, Israel and the U.S. had achieved tremendous victories — and this politically driven case puts all of it at risk.

“LET BIBI DO HIS JOB,” he wrote. “We need strength, not sabotage.”

Shortly after, Netanyahu reposted Trump’s message on X, responding:

“Thank you again, @realDonaldTrump. Together, we will make the Middle East Great Again!”
