Trump Raids Major Factory In Red State

In a stunning show of force, federal agents under President Donald Trump’s leadership carried out one of the largest immigration raids in recent history, detaining nearly 475 foreign workers at a massive Hyundai electric vehicle plant in Georgia.

The raid marks a major milestone in Trump’s nationwide crackdown on illegal immigration, a core promise of his presidency to protect American jobs and restore law and order across the country.

Hundreds Detained — Majority From South Korea

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) confirmed that most of those detained were foreign nationals from South Korea, with many suspected of working illegally through contracting companies.

Steven Schrank, HSI’s special agent in charge, called the raid a “historic step forward” in protecting American workers and ensuring a fair labor market.

“This operation demonstrates our commitment to securing jobs for hardworking Georgians and holding lawbreakers accountable,” Schrank said.

Workforce Shift Already Underway

The Pew Research Center reports that immigrants—both legal and illegal—made up 20% of the U.S. workforce at the start of the year.
By June, that number fell to 19%, a drop of more than 750,000 workers as Trump’s enforcement efforts ramped up nationwide.

Supporters say this proves Trump’s policies are working to prioritize American citizens, while critics warn of potential disruptions to certain industries.

Multi-Agency Operation With Heavy Security

The raid was massive and highly coordinated, involving:

  • FBI
  • DEA
  • ATF
  • ICE
  • Georgia State Patrol
  • Customs and Border Protection

State troopers blocked roads leading to the Hyundai plant to secure the area while ensuring production was not disrupted.

The ATF Atlanta office posted on X (formerly Twitter):

“Today, ATF joined HSI, FBI, DEA, ICE, and others in a major immigration enforcement action leading to the apprehension of nearly 450 unlawful aliens. Community safety remains our top priority.”

Hyundai Responds To The Raid

In a statement, Hyundai stressed that none of the detained workers were directly employed by the company, noting they were contractors working on the $7.6 billion facility.

“We are closely monitoring the situation and complying with all laws and regulations,” a company spokesperson said.
“The safety and well-being of everyone working at our site remains our top priority.”

Hyundai’s Georgia plant employs over 1,200 workers and is a key part of the company’s U.S. electric vehicle production strategy.

Trump Delivers On His Promise

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed the operation was part of an ongoing investigation into illegal hiring practices and other serious federal crimes.

“We are defending American jobs, protecting our economy, and ensuring accountability for those who exploit the system,” a DHS official stated.
“Under President Trump’s leadership, the rule of law will be enforced.”

This raid is seen as a clear warning to companies that look the other way when illegal labor practices occur.

Why It Matters

This high-profile action highlights President Trump’s unwavering commitment to:

  • Secure the border
  • Protect taxpayers
  • Defend American workers
  • Hold lawbreakers accountable

For many conservatives, this is proof that Trump’s policies are delivering real results — and that America is finally taking back control of its borders and economy.

Bottom Line

The Georgia raid sends a powerful message: under Trump, the era of unchecked illegal labor is over.
Businesses that break the law will face swift consequences, and American jobs will come first.

This is just the beginning of Trump’s historic plan to restore law and order across the United States.
