Trump Hit With Another Impeachment

Democrats are once again moving to impeach President Donald Trump, proving that even with the country facing major economic and national security challenges, the Left remains laser-focused on political warfare instead of helping the American people.

Texas Democrat Rep. Al Green announced that he is preparing yet another set of impeachment articles against Trump—despite Republicans holding the House majority and the effort having virtually zero chance of success.

Green insists the move is necessary because he claims Trump “doesn’t respect the separation of powers” and criticizes members of Congress who oppose him. He offered few details but promised the attack on Trump will become clear once the articles are filed.

“I will be bringing articles of impeachment,” Green said proudly. “I will be doing what I believe is right to protect the republic.”

To many Americans, it’s déjà vu all over again.

Impeachment Theatre Returns to Washington

President Trump was impeached twice during his first presidency—then acquitted twice by the U.S. Senate. Now Democrats are trying to resurrect the same strategy, even though Republicans control the House and the American public is exhausted by partisan attacks.

Analysts say Democrats know this impeachment effort is destined to fail, but they hope the political spectacle alone will damage Trump’s momentum and reputation—especially heading into the 2026 midterms.

On the House floor, Green quoted former Vice President Dick Cheney while accusing President Trump of being an “intimidator in chief,” repeating the same talking points the Left has used for years. Green even revived the Democrats’ January 6 narrative, ignoring the fact that Trump pardoned more than 1,500 people, including nonviolent offenders, in the name of justice reform.

Green warned that similar events “could happen again,” a claim many see as fear tactics to justify yet another impeachment headline.

Democrats Keep Filing, Even as the Public Moves On

Green has filed impeachment articles before—several times—and promised as recently as November that he would file them again before Christmas. Earlier this year, Rep. Shri Thanedar introduced seven articles of impeachment against Trump, attacking the president’s economic policies and his tariff strategy that many Americans credit with protecting U.S. jobs.

Political experts say this is all performance.

Mark Shanahan, a political scientist, said the impeachment push is “doomed to failure” and simply a way for Democrats to signal toughness to their base. “This is about testing the grit of Democrats in the House as we head into 2026,” he said.

Republicans and independents, meanwhile, see the nonstop impeachment threats as a sign that Democrats would rather fight Trump than fix inflation, the border crisis, or America’s deteriorating economy.

Trump Responds: ‘Here We Go Again’

At a recent rally, President Trump brushed off the latest impeachment chatter with humor and frustration—reflecting what millions of conservative voters feel.

“Today they did it again,” Trump said. “Some guy I’ve never even heard of—apparently he’s a congressman—got up and said he’s starting the impeachment of Donald Trump. What the hell did I do? Here we go again.”

For many older Americans, Trump’s comments ring true. They’ve watched Washington waste years on political investigations and impeachment stunts while the nation struggles with soaring costs, global instability, and a broken immigration system.

Another Impeachment, Same Political Playbook

Green says he will introduce his articles of impeachment before Christmas and encouraged lawmakers to “vote your conscience.” But with Republicans controlling the House and the American public increasingly skeptical of partisan attacks, the effort appears designed more for headlines than for justice.

For conservatives, the message is clear: Democrats still fear President Trump—and they are willing to use impeachment as a political weapon yet again.
