Trump Gives Musk A New Job?

President Trump addressed questions about Elon Musk’s role in government on Monday, firmly backing the tech mogul as a patriot and supporter of American values. Despite the White House clarifying that Musk is not part of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Trump was quick to dismiss any concerns about the billionaire’s title, emphasizing that Musk’s contributions to cost-cutting and innovation should be seen as evidence of his commitment to the nation.

“Elon is a patriot, plain and simple,” Trump said, making it clear that Musk could be called anything from an employee to a consultant. “What matters is the results he’s delivering, and they speak for themselves.” Trump further praised Musk’s dedication, pointing to his leadership in revolutionizing industries like space exploration and electric vehicles, as well as his efforts to streamline operations and reduce government waste.

In information obtained from a court filing from Joshua Fisher, the director of White House’s Administration, Musk is technically a senior adviser to the president, but has no formal authority to make government decisions. Even so, Trump expressed his confidence in Musk, stating that the tech entrepreneur is surrounded by a brilliant team of individuals at DOGE who are dedicated to advancing the country’s interests.

Addressing potential conflicts of interest involving Musk’s companies, such as SpaceX and Tesla, Trump assured that any such issues would be resolved. He made it clear that no government contracts or projects would be allowed to create conflicts, and Musk would refrain from any involvement in areas where there could be concerns.

In his remarks, Trump also turned attention to ongoing issues with government inefficiencies, highlighting a startling revelation about Social Security fraud. He revealed that millions of payments were still being sent to individuals who were no longer alive, including Social Security checks to people aged 100 and above, and even those who would be over 200 years old. “This is a clear indication of the corruption that has plagued our country, and we’re working hard to clean it up,” Trump asserted, adding that fraud in the system was a significant concern.

Trump’s remarks were part of his broader message to drain the swamp of inefficiencies and corruption, promising that his administration would continue working to safeguard taxpayer dollars. With Musk and his team by his side, Trump believes they can make the government more accountable and efficient than ever before.
