Trump Causes CNN Meltdown

President Donald J. Trump is making headlines once again — this time for taking decisive action to protect America’s national security by revoking the security clearances of several high-profile political opponents.

In a bold presidential memo, President Trump ordered the removal of classified access for individuals including Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Jake Sullivan, Antony Blinken, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and even former President Joe Biden and members of the Biden family.

“It is no longer in the national interest for these individuals to access classified information,” the President stated.

The mainstream media wasted no time going on the offensive. CNN’s Victor Blackwell openly questioned the move, calling it nothing more than “revenge.” During a segment on Saturday, he asked whether Trump’s action contradicts his 2025 promise to refrain from targeting political rivals.

In an interview with The Washington Post, political analyst Mariana Alfaro called the decision “unprecedented” and suggested Trump is using the “sharpest tool” available to push back against long-time critics.

“These are people who’ve spent years warning the public about Trump,” Alfaro said. “Removing their access to classified intel is the first major step in his second term—and it’s likely not the last.”

But millions of Americans see it differently. After years of partisan investigations, politically motivated impeachments, and media smear campaigns, Trump’s supporters believe this is a necessary move to restore trust in our national security institutions.

Why Should Political Operatives Keep Security Access?

Many of the individuals affected were either part of the failed Russia collusion hoax, directly involved in the January 6th committee, or worked behind the scenes to undermine Trump’s presidency. Critics argue they have no business retaining access to sensitive national intelligence—especially now that they’re out of office.

CNN’s legal analyst Norm Eisen, a lead figure in Trump’s first impeachment trial, mocked the move, tweeting:

“It’s like the third time he’s revoked my clearance… Does he revoke it and give it back just so he can do it again?”

But Trump allies aren’t laughing. They view this as a serious and justified national security measure, not political theater.
