Top NFL Quarterback Insults Trump

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to honor a proud American tradition by visiting the White House later this month, celebrating their hard-fought victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. President Donald Trump personally extended the invitation, and the team eagerly accepted, showing their respect for the office and the nation.

Yet, questions linger about whether star quarterback Jalen Hurts will join his teammates. At the 2025 TIME100 Gala in New York City, Hurts was asked if he planned to attend the April 28 event. His response? A long pause, a glance around, and a silent exit — offering no clear answer.

In early March, White House officials confirmed to Fox News Digital that President Trump’s invitation had been warmly accepted. This stands in stark contrast to 2018, when political grandstanding over national anthem protests led to the Eagles skipping the traditional visit. Back then, President Trump rightly canceled the invitation after several players disrespected the flag and those who serve under it.

Today, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie is taking a different tone, calling the visit a “time-honored tradition” and emphasizing how much it means to the organization.

“When you grow up hearing about championship teams visiting the White House, it’s a dream. This is a moment we are truly looking forward to,” Lurie stated.

Head coach Nick Sirianni echoed that enthusiasm, calling the upcoming trip an “honor” and a “privilege,” adding, “This is part of what makes America so special.”

President Trump, who remains a beloved figure at major sporting events and continues to champion patriotic values, attended Super Bowl LIX in person, showing his enduring support for America’s teams and traditions.

At a time when many in the sports world seem to embrace division, the Eagles’ return to honoring American values at the White House stands as a refreshing reminder of what makes our country great.
