Speaker Johnson Disgusted By Democrats

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., vehemently criticized the recent guilty verdict against former President Donald Trump, calling it a “dark day in American history.”

In a post on X, Johnson expressed his outrage following the jury’s decision to convict Trump on all 34 counts related to his business records trial.

“Today marks a dark day in American history,” Johnson wrote. “The Democrats have celebrated the conviction of their political adversary on dubious charges, heavily relying on the testimony of a disbarred, convicted felon. This was not a pursuit of justice but a blatant political maneuver.”

Johnson accused the Biden Administration of using the justice system as a political weapon, suggesting that this verdict exemplifies the lengths to which Democrats will go to suppress opposition and eliminate their political rivals.

He added, “The American justice system has been weaponized under the Biden Administration, and today’s decision is proof that the Democrats are relentless in their quest to silence opposition and crush their political enemies.”

Trump’s sentencing is scheduled for July 11.

“The American public recognizes this as an act of ‘lawfare,’ and they know it is both wrong and perilous,” Johnson concluded. “President Trump will rightfully challenge this outrageous verdict — and he WILL WIN!”
