Obama Attacks Trump

Obama Responds to Damning Report as Trump Demands Accountability

In a fiery political clash, former President Barack Obama is lashing out after the Trump administration revealed explosive findings tying senior Obama-era officials to the controversial Russia investigation.

On Tuesday, Obama’s spokesperson Patrick Rodenbush pushed back, calling the allegations “absurd” and accusing Trump officials of trying to divert attention. His response came after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released a stunning report accusing former Obama-era officials of engaging in a “treasonous conspiracy” tied to the 2016 election.

But Americans aren’t buying the spin.

According to Gabbard’s report, former Obama officials may have been directly involved in efforts to undermine Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, using federal resources in what President Trump now calls “the biggest political scandal in American history.”

“He’s guilty, it’s not a question,” Trump said, referring to Obama. “This was treason—every word you can think of.”

Gabbard confirmed her office is handing over evidence of criminal wrongdoing to the Justice Department. The move could lead to criminal referrals against top figures from the Obama administration, including:

  • Former Vice President Joe Biden
  • Former FBI Director James Comey
  • Former DNI James Clapper
  • Former CIA Director John Brennan

The growing scandal traces back to “Crossfire Hurricane,” the FBI’s controversial code name for its probe into so-called Russian interference in 2016. But what was sold to the public as national security turned out to be, as many now believe, a politically driven smear campaign against Donald Trump.

President Trump has long denied Russia played any meaningful role in his 2016 victory. Instead, mounting evidence points to a well-funded operation by the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee, aimed at sabotaging Trump before he ever took office.

Clinton, DNC Paid Millions for Discredited Trump-Russia Dossier

Federal records reveal the DNC and Clinton’s team spent over $1 million through Perkins Coie law firm to fund opposition research against Trump. That research was conducted by Fusion GPS, which hired retired British spy Christopher Steele to create the now-debunked Steele dossier.

The dossier, filled with unverified and salacious claims, became the basis for government surveillance of Trump associates.

After an investigation, the Federal Election Commission fined the DNC $105,000 and Clinton’s campaign $8,000 for hiding payments tied to the dossier.

Despite repeated attempts by the media and political establishment to bury the story, Trump ordered the full declassification of all Crossfire Hurricane files in March—bringing the truth to light for the American people.

The Bottom Line

While Obama and his allies rush to deny and deflect, the facts continue to surface. And for millions of voters who still remember the fake Russia hoax, the time for accountability may finally be here.

President Trump is once again leading the charge—calling out the Deep State, demanding justice, and standing up for truth.
