Newsom Gets Under Trump’s Skin With New Move

California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom is at it again—mocking President Donald Trump while pushing his climate-obsessed globalist agenda.

On Friday, Newsom staged a signing ceremony with Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Denmark’s U.S. Ambassador Jesper Møller Sørensen. The flashy deal promises “climate action, technology exchange, and innovation,” but critics say it’s nothing more than political theater.

And how did Newsom announce it? In ALL CAPS on X—deliberately mimicking Trump’s famous posting style. The post screamed: “A VERY IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL MEETING HAPPENING TODAY.”

Clearly, this wasn’t about policy. It was about poking at President Trump.

Climate Alarmism Disguised as “Partnership”

The agreement centers on green energy, artificial intelligence, and sweeping climate commitments. Newsom’s lieutenant governor praised the deal as proof California is leading on “climate change challenges.”

Denmark’s Rasmussen celebrated it as “the most comprehensive agreement we’ve made with any U.S. state.” Translation: Democrats are happy to cozy up with foreign bureaucrats if it means more climate rules and more control.

But everyday Americans see through it. While families struggle with rising costs, Newsom is busy signing international “pacts” that do nothing to lower gas prices, stop illegal immigration, or make California safer.

Newsom’s Redistricting Power Grab

At the same time, Newsom is pushing through new Democrat-friendly maps in California—potentially handing his party five more seats in the U.S. House. His office even mocked Trump again, bragging in a parody post:

“WOW!!! MY MAPS (THE BEST MAPS EVER MADE) WILL SOON PASS IN THE GREATEST LEGISLATURE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD… THESE ARE ‘PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL’ MAPS. BETTER THAN GOOGLE, BETTER THAN APPLE.”

For many, this isn’t funny—it’s a direct attack on election fairness. Republicans call it exactly what it is: gerrymandering on steroids.

Trump Hits Back

President Trump has long battled Newsom on water, immigration, and wildfire management. Last month, he fired off a truth bomb on Truth Social:

“GOVERNOR NEWSCUM REFUSED TO RELEASE BILLIONS OF GALLONS OF WATER… WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT WOULD HAVE MADE! I HAVE SINCE OVERRULED HIM, AND IT IS NOW RELEASED.”

While Trump focuses on solutions, Newsom focuses on photo ops, hashtags, and global climate stunts.

Bottom Line

Gavin Newsom isn’t leading—he’s trolling. Instead of fixing California’s crime, homelessness, or broken power grid, he’s mocking Trump online and signing useless foreign “partnerships.”
