Hunter Biden’s Daughter Attacks Republican

Naomi Biden strongly rebutted Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) statements during a House hearing attended by her father on Wednesday. Responding to Greene’s claim that Hunter Biden had left the committee hearing room to avoid the truth, Naomi Biden asserted that it was, in fact, Greene who prompted people to leave by spreading false information. She expressed this sentiment on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Hunter Biden unexpectedly appeared at a House Oversight and Accountability Committee markup that day, where a resolution to hold him in contempt of Congress was advanced. The resolution alleged his non-compliance with a December subpoena. Tensions escalated when Hunter Biden entered the room, engaging in a brief period of contention between Republicans and Democrats before abruptly departing with his entourage.

Greene seized the moment to claim on X that Hunter Biden had fled when she began exposing what she believed to be the truth behind the “Biden Crime Family.” She asserted having substantial evidence of corruption and foreign influence peddling within the Biden family and anticipated accountability for these alleged crimes.

In a subsequent interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” First Lady Jill Biden defended her son Hunter against Republican accusations, describing the treatment as cruel. She expressed pride in Hunter’s recovery from addiction and conveyed the emotional toll it took on her grandchildren.

During the hearing, Representative Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) strongly criticized Hunter Biden’s presence, questioning who had bribed him to be there and accusing him of epitomizing white privilege. Mace called for Hunter Biden’s immediate arrest and imprisonment, a sentiment echoed by Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

Crockett particularly denounced Mace’s reference to white privilege, considering it a personal affront as a Black woman and challenging the perspective presented by some members of the aisle. She argued that those making such claims did not truly understand the concept of white privilege.
